By making an order for a press release, customers accept these terms.

1. Payment for press releases must be made in advance either by credit/debit card through Paypal, by BACS or by cheque. Inevitably, there is a short delay to press releases being written if payments are made through a bank - and a longer one if cheques are sent by post because they must clear first. Customers selecting Royal Mail distribution and any who require email/fax distribution lists that exceed 100 media must send their second payment before distribution.
2. The media distribution list that the customer receives to approve includes the names of the publications/broadcasters only. It does NOT include the contact names of journalists or any telephone, fax, email or address details.
3. Limit of 500 words includes headlines, contact details and any notes to editors.
4. Copyright on all press releases remains with The Press Works until all payments are received after which it passes to the customer.
5. The customer indemnifies and keeps indemnified The Press Works/Altisidora Limited from and against any and all proceedings, claims, damages, losses, expenses or liabilities which might be incurred or sustained as a direct or indirect result of or in connection with approved press releases.
6. Press releases are the responsibility of the customer relating to advertising and press standards and any rules of relevant trade or professional associations.
